Lots to Do and See Between Laps

The Michaelgate Challenge for Youth Riders

These events will each be a massed start hill climb with a maximum entry of 20 riders in each group and will take place on the cobbled climb of Michaelgate finishing at the Grand Prix finish line in Castle Square.

The entry is mainly for riders from the East Midlands region with an option for an Open event.

Event Categories will be:

  • Boys Youth B (Under 14) Boys Youth A (Under 16)
  • Combined Girls Youth A (Under 16) and B (Under 14)
  • Open Youth A (Under 16) race

A small entry fee of £3 will be charged and all riders must be pre-entered by April 19th.  Please use a standard BC Road/Circuit Entry Form.

British Cycling/Velo Club Lincoln WATT Bike Challenge

Located in the Castle Square Finish Area these exciting competitions will be taking place throught the event using British Cycling's WATT static training bikes.

These are sophisticated modern pieces of equipment and are used by the all conquering national team to supplement their training routines.

Test yourself against national team results over 100 metres

See yourself on the video screen

There will be 6 of these machines available for all to 'Have a Go'

The Lincolnshire Sports Partnership will also have information areas with full details of sports opportunities in the County

This will be backed up with information from the East Midlands Development Agency on events in the region

Taste and buy the foods of Lincolnshire at this special Sunday market day

Lots of stalls with lots of lovely food
