The Grand Prix Race Committee have issued an amended result of the 56th Lincoln Grand Prix.
This now shows that Zak Dempster of Rapha Condor Sharp finished in 5th place and Liam Holohan of Team Raleigh in 6th place. This is a reversal of the provisional result issued after the event on Sunday.
The Committee would like to point out that these positions at the finish line were particularly close and it was only through studying slow motion video footage provided by the Rapha Condor Sharp Team that the finish order of these riders could be determined.
The committee always welcomes any evidence regarding the result but asks that this be submitted to the event organiser in the first place rather than being placed in the public arena as a challenge to the result.
However John Herety, the Rapha Condor Sharp Team Manager, has apologised for these actions and an amended result can now be found on this website.
