Jackson Building Centres and Impsport have confirmed their continued sponsorship of the Lincoln Grand Prix for 2012. Jacksons will add to their financial support for the popular event by providing extra crowd barriers in and around the finish area whilst Impsport will continue to assist with the provision of race promotion equipment.

Andy Williams, Managing Director of Jacksons, expressed his full support for the race and was hoping to take part in the previous day's Lincoln Grand Prix Sportive but a business commitment will have to take preference this year. Andy rode the 92 mile sportive last year.

Peter Merrick, Impsport Managing Director, also fully backed the 102 mile race which has now been supported by Impsport for over 30 years and he is a hopeful starter in the Sportive.

Race Organiser, Ian Emmerson, welcomed Jackson's and Impsport's continued involvement in the event which backs up the main sponsorship from the University of Lincoln and City of Lincoln Council. These are the first two of several more local businesses expected to confirm their support. Others will be announced shortly.

With 3 months to go entries are starting to arrive for the race and these will be published on the event web site as they arrive. Go to www.lincolngrandprix.org.uk and click on Competitors.
